Low, Ball & Lynch enjoyed a large turnout at the Annual Sacramento Seminar on November 9, 2012. Carriers attended in person and via webinar and were offered great insight into issues at the forefront of the insurance industry. The topics covered included: An Update on California Law, presented by Joe Aguilar (associate, Low, Ball & Lynch) and Karen Moore (associate, Low, Ball & Lynch); The Mechanics of Evaluating Personal Injury Claims from the Plaintiff’s and the Defense’s Perspectives, presented by Steven D. Werth (partner, Low, Ball & Lynch) and Khaldoun Baghdadi (partner, Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger); Significant Insurance Coverage Cases from 2011-2012, presented by David L. Blinn (partner, Low, Ball & Lynch); and the ABCs of Medical Billing and Coding, presented by Tami Rockholt, RN, Nurse Consultant, Director of Business Development for INFORM software Corporation.

Attendees enjoyed a cocktail reception following the program and provided excellent feedback:

“Your work on these events is greatly appreciated by those of us who cannot attend in person. Please send, via express mail, a martini or two.”  Jay S., Webinar Attendee

“Excellent Job - fully met my expectations.” – Karl M., In Person Attendee

I love the webinar. Thank you.” – James D., Webinar Attendee

“I believe the way David Blinn presented his information was more engaging (like he was telling a story) vs. just reading the information. It made it more interesting.”           -- Gail P., In Person Attendee

Your next chance to attend a Low, Ball and Lynch seminar is on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 for the Annual Public Entity Holiday Seminar.  Topics include: Defending Taser-Related Excessive Force Claims; Evaluating and Defending Claims Against Public Employers Based on Employee Sexual Misconduct; and SB 1186: An Effort to Curb ADA Lawsuit Abuse.
